Proposal and submission guidelines (deadline 30 November 2026)
All proposals must be submitted through the official online submission system and will be peer-reviewed by the Board of Reviewers.
Workshop Proposals should include:
- Clear learning objectives and expected participant outcomes
- Theoretical and/or methodological rationale
- Detailed format (interactive, didactic, or hybrid)
- Target audience and prerequisites (if any)
- Names, affiliations, and short bios of facilitators
- Room layout and AV requirements
Workshops should be participatory and may include experiential exercises, demonstrations, small-group work, or methodological training.
Symposium proposals should include:
- Conceptual links between presentations
- Proposed structure and timing
- Names of chair and discussant (if known)
Individual Papers can be included in a symposium:
Each paper should summarise:
- Background and aims
- Methods (if empirical)
- Key findings or theoretical contribution
- Implications for research and practice
A typical symposium comprises 3–4 linked presentations followed by discussion.
Panel proposal
Panels are dialogic sessions designed for debate, critical reflection or interdisciplinary exchange, in one of the four topics.
The proposal should state:
- Central question or theme and its relevance
- Rationale and intended contribution to the field
- Proposed structure (moderated dialogue, provocations, audience Q&A)
- Names and affiliations of proposed panelists and moderator/chair
- Any specific AV or room configuration needs
Panels should prioritise discussion and audience engagement rather than formal long presentations.
Format and duration
Workshops
- Typical duration: 90 minutes
- Formats: experiential, methodological training, skills workshops, or hybrid didactic/experiential activities
Symposia
- Typical duration: 90 minutes
- Structure: 3–4 presentations (15–20 minutes each) + 15–20 minutes discussion
Panels
- Typical duration: 60–90 minutes
- Structure: short inputs from each panelist (5–10 minutes) followed by moderated dialogue and audience interaction
Each accepted session (workshop / symposium / panel) will appear in the programme with:
- Title, presenters, affiliations, short abstract and explicit learning objectives (where applicable)
Technical requirements
Standard room equipment (included)
- Projector and projection screen
- Laptop connection (HDMI; adapter requirements should be declared in advance)
- Basic sound system (speakers and microphone upon request)
- Wi-Fi access at the venue
Available AV support (on request)
- Slide presentation playback (PowerPoint, PDF)
- Video playback (MP4 recommended, H.264 codec)
- Audio material (embedded in presentations)
- Local laptop and HDMI connection for presenters (subject to availability)
